A top prize winner in several international competitions including Cleveland International Piano Competition and the World Piano Competition of Cincinnati, Beatrice Long's rare combination of dramatic virtuosity and eloquent musicianship has captivated audiences in Southeast Asia, Belgium, France, Switzerland, Central America and in the United States. Ms. Long was invited to perform as soloist with Baltimore Symphony Orchestra, Mexico National Symphony, National Symphony Orchestra of Taiwan, Taipei Symphony, Laredo Philharmonic, New Amsterdam Symphony, Jura Symphony Orchestra in France and the Presidential Palace Concerts in Taiwan among others.

Her recent performances include recitals at Cultural Theatre in Hungzhou, China, Summer Festival in Champagne, France, Del Valle Concert Series in San Francisco, Kunsthalle Ziegelhütte, Appenzell, Switzerland and International Piano Series in Charleston, SC. Her live and recorded performances have been broadcast on National Public Radio, Radio France and CBC (Canada).

Ms. Long collaborates with her sister Christina as the Long Piano Duo, and the pair recently performed in Weill Hall, Alice Tully Hall, Taiwan National Concert Hall and Dallas Museum of Arts. Ms. Long also appeared as a recitalist in the Ravinia and Fontainebleau Festivals. Her disc of the Scriabin Mazurkas on Naxos was praised in the American Record Guide as "impressive on many levels." Ms. Long graduated with honors from the Curtis Institute and Peabody Conservatory, where she was under the tutelage of Leon Fleisher, Mieczyslaw Horszowski, Seymour Lipkin, Enrique Graf and Fou T'song.
