CAMI Hall 165 West 57th Street, New York, NY 10019Saturday November 13, 2004, 7:30pmART IST World Concert Series is the largest concert series at CAMI Hall and it encompasses solo recitals as well as chamber music. For the first time U.S. audiences can experience a chamber music concert with two of Bulgaria's most prolific young artists, Kalin Ivanov (cello) and Pavel Minev (violin). Hailed as the "Bulgarian Paganini", Pavel Minev will join Kalin Ivanov, a New York favorite, in Rachmaninov's rarely performed Trio élègiaque in G Minor and a new commissioned work by fellow countryman Rumi Petrova, Trio for Violin, Cello and Piano. Other works on the program include solo works for violin and cello of Schumann, Brahms, Wieniawski and Bolcom. The collaborative pianist will be Giacomo Franci, known for his two most recent recordings of the complete solo piano music of William Balcom and Aaron Copland.
